Energy Advice

Energy Advice

The Energy Advice Advice Project aims to help people living in Bedworth, Rugby and Nuneaton out of fuel poverty by offering energy advice, help with managing fuel debt, energy saving and ways to reduce energy bills by switching suppliers or finding a better tariff. At the same time we can:

  • Support people in vulnerable situations who may also be reliant on energy for their medical care and for registration onto the WPD ‘Priority Services Register’
  • Remove barriers from switching suppliers and/or finding better tariffs
  • Provide clearer information that will make it easier for clients to understand their energy supply and to choose the best deal
  • Inform and advice on ECO Schemes to support clients with a new boiler or cavity wall/loft insulation
  • Conduct a benefits check to ensure that clients are getting their full entitlements
  • Offer advice on managing money, any debts clients may have and talk to those to whom money is owed and try to set up affordable repayments
  • Help applying for a reduction in the water bill
